Loudest animal in world

What is the loudest animal on earth? Is it the Blue Whale or the Pistol Shrimp? I'm having many a debate over this question at work, however I can't find a definite answer on net. Most sites suggest the Blue Whale (188Db), but I also found sites that suggest the Pistol Shrimp is louder (190-205Db). Any help?

Isn't the Howler Monkey pretty 'vocal'...

The howler monkey is the loudest land animal, (the You Tube videos are excellent), however it is not the loudest on earth. I wouldn't want to be in a rainforest without knowing about the Howler Monkey...very scary noise.
