my guppy just had like 30 babies and i want to know if this is right
1.Feed 3-4 times a day
2.Keep in Baby saver

Yes, you are right.
I presume you are using a liquid feed, in which case because the babies are so small, you only need a couple of drops a time.
You will need to keep the babies in the saver for at least 8-10 weeks until they are big enough to NOT get scoffed by other fish. When you think the time is right, evict 1 only and check that it has survived 24 hours, yes? then it's time for the rest to swim free!

I've got 100 three week old siamese fighting fish at the moment...god knows what i'm going to do with all the males i get when they start fighting. Any takers !!!
As for the guppies....get some normal fish flake and crush it up so it's almost powder. Feed 2 - 3 - 4 times a day and make sure the "baby saver" (breeding trap ?) is flushed out every other day just by lifting it up and then dropping it back in the tank .

Congats on the fry... but be careful, especailly if you have any big fish in the tank. My guppy had babies and I managed to rescue about 5. After several months on the breeding trap they were about 1/2" long but too small to go in the main tank because we have angel fish - they'd just eat them immediately. The only problem with a breeding trap is that they stunt the fry's growth - in my case they'd never grow big enough to live happily with the angels, so I had to buy a seperate tank for them.
Yes you could Boo. Think about it, if you enjoy one tank then two tanks must double the enjoyment. Three tanks trice etc. etc.
TheFishWant, depending on what type of other fish you have in the tank and providing the young grow well, you can let the young go at 2/3 weeks if there is no fish bigger then a female guppy.
Despite guppies doing well on dried food, they will do a lot better on live food. After all, in the old days guppies where known as mosquito fish. You might want to consider getting a setup to breed brine-shrimps, very easy. Newborn guppies can just manage freshly hatched brineshrimp and they will grow a lot faster.
If you are looking at breeding for a particular colour watch the young males and remove when getting mature. They can develop a gonopodium as early as 6 weeks and fertilise all the females, which can have several spawnings from one mating so spoils them for future selective breeding.

It may seem cruel, but if you have several guppies having fry at the same time, ( Up to forty a time each ), your tank is going to be teeming with young.
Provide plenty of cover for them, ( a couple of those spiky plastic hair brushes do the trick ).
And let natural selection take its course.

Also, unless you introduce a new male occasionaly they will revert to plain silver, and lose their beautiful colouring.

Boo....if it's any consolation, i've just bought my 8th tank. Apart from the baby fighters, i now have 11 males and 6 females. I bought two girlies at the weekend from different shops, put them in with the other girlies and they must've thought it was their birthday....as both the new girlies have turned out to be boys (both halfmoon plakats). They confirmed this by blowing me a gorgeous bubble nest when they were seperated.
Phil....babies won't be ready for a good 4-5 weeks yet but i live near Brighton if you want any.
