Hi, can anyone tell me what weight a 5 month old gsd should be please. My dog is female and weighs 26 kg but does not look fat and she is quite a slender looking dog. Is this a normal size/weight. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't worry about it KC, as long as she's fit and well, for his first year Max seemed to be growing but not bulking up but by the time he was 18m he'd filled out and tho i say it my self he's made a great looking dog

The average adult weight of a GSD bitch is 32kg, but obviously that is average there will be deviations either side. GSDs are not notoriously fat dogs and they shouldn't be because of their hips. Remember she will keep growing until she is 2 years old, so as long as she is in proportion she will be fine.
If you ever get to the big champ dogs shows, Royal Canin do an excellent book called the German shepherd Encyclopeadia, I got it free when I bought a bag of food but they might sell you one.
