well I was gona get a little baseball cap and cut some holes for her ears!!
pale coloured cats are very susceptible to burning around the nose and ears where the fur is very thin.
hows that for seriousness.
They can do yes. So if I was you I put some cream on his nose and his ears as well - any bit of him that isn't covered in fur basically. They can burn. If he's sensible he won't lie in the sun too long but if he's anything like my silly lump he won't be sensible!
awww i'm tempted to try it with my cat but i guess i'd end up with all over me and the house and no where near the cat who would of bolted and be happily sunning her self on the roof
Any thin patch of fur on a cat needs sunscreen. Skin cancer is very common on the tips of cats ears.

i cant see why anyone would laugh at such an idea. the hat may be taking things a bit far tho Pink.

China(yes it is a tongue in cheek question as I did know they could get burnt!!) Nobody else read this!

But I really dont know about the other animals!!
this is such a mrs slocombe moment (off are you being served for the younger viewer), but i shall resist the temptation of lowering the tone.
I'd use a complete sunblock if I were you. Good luck getting it on him though!
Keep it clean Stevie!

Well now, snakes shed their skin so if they burn perhaps they just get rid of it... but I think we'd all better get the cream and sort out the caerpillars...
Question Author
stevie - how could you possibly lower the tone!!
