Good morning guys. Yep has been torrential rain here for days, even up to bedtime last night, but have woken up to a rare rare show of sunshine. Hopefully will last longer than an hour!

Morning, Geriatric cat has had me up since 1230am, so I gave up and logged on and did some casework.

Its the one downside to moving to the cottage is that I can't do all the stuff I would have done in the big house because of the noise!

We have sunshine here - so have a good day.

Rain is nothing new for us here in Manchester, Helen. Although it's a myth that Manchester, is one of the rainiest places in Britain. I think we come out about 15th. Other places that are wetter include Swansea, Preston, Bradford, Plymouth, Glasgow, so it's not us!

Home now from a two and a half week hospital stay for a posterior dislocation of the hip. (I'm pretty sure that's what they called it anyway).
It's even stopped raining for me, lol.
Hope you manage a nap or two sometime today Helen.

Good morning all. Lovely morning here again but very frosty ground is white but will be nice as day progresses. Take care ferlew sounds painful.

Smowball - I know - much too long, but I had anaemia issues ongoing due to GAVE and I couldn't bear any weight on the hip.
You will never believe how I dislocated it. I simply turned over in bed !!

The sun has broken on the horizon, I hope its still sending its rays until it sets in the west.

I'm donning my wellies now to grab some of those rays, before they fade away.

I am assured my house in Christchurch has still got a roof. There were Tornado warnings yesterday in the Bouremouth,Poole and Christchurch areas. A very black cloud and Twister photographed over Mudeford Quay.
