Saturday. After a night of rain the sun is going to come up into a cloudless sky. It's pleasent out, I've been for a wee walk.

Tiggy was waiting under the barbie when I put his supper out, he was sheltering from the rain, He saw it off as soon as it touched the ground then looked up as if to say 'Ta Squire' then shot off back to Tiggy Towers. He's a funny wee lad! He is out this morning have a mooch about.

I have no idea at the moment what I'll do today, something will occur no doubt.

Have a happy day everyone.

Question Author
:o} Morning Chris. Could be!

All well mate?
Morning, gents.
I don't get on well with these light mornings. I could have sworn it must be at least 8 am, but no; it's 5 o'clock again.
Fine here, thanks, although my body clock is the wrong way round as usual. I got up (after sleeping all day) at 9.20pm yesterday, so it's now about tea-time for me!

Morning jo xxx It's the best time of day! ;o}

How are you this morning...apart from tired?
Question Author
I was going to do breakfast on the barbie, but it's too wet after all the rain.
Question Author
Chris are you sure you're not in Australia? :o}
Good morning, Jo.

At least your body clock is only about three hours out. I seem to be almost entirely nocturnal these days. I had to get up at 4am last Tuesday though, to work from 5am to 9pm [including travelling time and a couple of one hour breaks and that's a real pain when my body tells me that I should be just thinking about going to bed at that time!
Question Author
That does tend to upset the body clock. Takes ages to get back to normal...whatever that is!
Fine thanks, boaty. I'd just like a bit more sleep. Or better blackout curtains. :)

I love reading about little Tiggy. I think he's a hedgehog, isn't he?

So cute. I have loads of rabbits in my garden, but they scarper as soon as I appear. I like to think of them as my pets that I don't have to feed :)
>>> I was going to do breakfast on the barbie

Ruddy 'eck. Watch out for poor little Tiggy!!!

>>> Chris are you sure you're not in Australia?

When, many years ago, I visited Australia I seemed to feel that my body clock fitted perfectly with their times. When I came back it took me a week to adjust to UK times!
I can imagine, Buenchico. It's not long since this would be my going to bed time. I'm a good girl now :))
>>> I love reading about little Tiggy. I think he's a hedgehog, isn't he?

Either that, Jo, or an old tramp who Boaty allows to sleep in his garden ;-)
>>> I'm a good girl now

The other one has got bells on, Jo ;-)

Yes jo, Tiggy is indeed a hedgehog. He's third generation to live in my garden. His mum and grandmum lived in the old wooden shed, that's gone now and replaces by a plastic coated steel one, so I made Tiggy Towers for him out of a redundant wooden bread box. He's quite cosy in there.

Chris the barbie is a big gas one, so he's quite safe under it. :o}
Oh, so lovely. We used to have a hedgy in our garden when I was little. I haven't seen one for years now.

I'm awake every morning at about four. If it's nice like this morning I go for a walk, It's the best time of day, lots of wildlife about still at that time, most of them have got used to me and just carry on with whatever they are doing. One of the joys of living on the edge of the village, well it's a small town now. I'm at the top of a 280 foot high hill, so a couple of minutes along the lane at the back and I can look right across the Severn Vale to the Forest of Dean, with the river flowing across the view, Gloucester Cathedral is prominent to the right, with Slimbridge church spire to the left, standing in the right spot I can see the two Severn bridges. It really is a lovely place to live.
Sounds lovely, boaty.
I love my view of Bridgwater Bay, but loads of grockles are getting in the way at the mo. Kids come off the beach and stand and stare at me in my garden. Grrrr! :)
Question Author
That takes the shine off it somewhat jo. :-/
Yes it does a bit, boaty. I once had to chuck people out because they'd jumped over the wall dividing my garden from the next door pub car park. Also people opening up their picnic on my table.
But I'm really lucky to live here. So I try not to complain toooooo much :)
