Good Morning Early Birds!

Friday. I have to be away at 5.15 this morning. My mate is picking me up at 5.30 to drop me off at Saul Junction. A bit early but he starts work at six. He will also pick me up from Gloucester when he finishes work.

There is no point in me taking my own car as all the boats are staying overnight in Gloucester docks.

The time won't be wasted however. There are 60 boats in the possession! I'm glad I'm not a marshal!

Today is the funeral of a much loved boatman. The flotilla is a send off for him. His boat, with his son and daughter on board will be leading the parade.

1ozzy - busy day again for me today and all of next week then a whole week off to do whatever the hell I want (or what the girlfriend will allow me to do!) over in my native Yorkshire.

Welshy, have a GREAT time in Yorkshire. You mentioned before that you were in the York area. Is that where you're from? I have relatives in Ilkley, Ben Rhydding, and Harrogate. I love all around that area. I used to go to the York Christmas market every year. I loved it.
