Has anybody had a sense of forboding that actually happened?

One I remember is that I was talking to somebody at an organisation I used to belong to about our leader, I said what will happen at end of year when X goes. He said he's not going anywhere. I didnt know what made me say it and we started talking about other things. At the end of the year X got pneumonia and died........

There was a joke about somebody slapping Maurice Woodruff in the face because they wanted to strike a happy medium.

Yes., several times.
One example was when i was at home, standing at my sink one lunchtime peeling potatoes , just like any other day. Suddenly Shirley Bassey came into my mind. I dont know why this was. I hadnt heard her music recently or seen her on television recently but i could visualise her. I could see her clearly on stage . Now if you had normally asked me to name a Shirley Bassey song i probably would have said erm "Big Spender" then i wouldnt be able to think of anymore., but suddenly not only could i see her on stage, describe her dresses and hear her singing all her songs so clerarly that i could have told you all the words to all her songs.
Anyway, i put this out of my mind afterwards thinking my family wouldnt believe me.
The very next morning when our newspaper dropped in our letterbox, the headlines were "Shirley Bassey taken ill at Lunchtime",

This sort of thing has happened to me now three or four times (not all to do with Shirley Bassey though)

I looked at my wellies, one with L and the other with R. Then I realised one was for my left foot and the third one was actually a condom.

I had another one when i was in the bank down the town once too.I am a very patient person. I went in as normal and there was a long queue.. That was fine. I dont mind waiting. , then suddenly i started to panic and think its no good, ive got to get out of here fast. . All i could see in my head was loads of polce cars. Then just as i was thinking its no good, ive got to go, this woman came running in the bank in a real panic and she said 2Can someone phone the police please? I own the dress shop round the corner and someone has just made off with a load of my outfits" The bank staff said yes, they would and as she ran out the bank my feeling of panic completely disappeared.
