Have had a gorgeous day. Wakened early by glorious sunshine - did a wee wash and hung it out. Picked up a friend at noon and went to a beautiful garden centre for lunch (Jessie's Kitchen comes highly recommended if you are in Dundee) Sat in the sun most of the afternoon putting the world to rights. Home about 5.30pm for a bit of gentle weeding. All's well with the world.

The assistant may have tried to sell me a warranty but he had such a tenuous grasp of the English language it is hard to say. I could only understand one word in ten.

No I had to work this morning and then had a bank appointment all of which ate into my sunbathing time. Home by 2, stripped off (nearly), towel and cushions out, cigs and sudoko and then what? too flaming hot and had to come in.
