suspected amphetamine ingestion

My partner had friends round last night and i know they had amphetamine on them. They were in the kitchen sorting this stuff and what i can think is that some may have gone on the floor. Since they have been round my dog has seemed really out of sorts. How do i know if she has accidentally ingested some amphetamine, what do i do to help her.

All advice greatley appreciated.

Please don't wait for an answer here, you need to take the dog to a vet. No comment about your partner or their friends, they have a choice about what they put in their systems.
Yep - phone the vet. Drugs can cause different problems to dogs than to humans. It's not worth taking a risk.
agree with other people go to the vets explain etc dont lie about whatever you think he may ingested.

if your on certain benefits and have a pdsa in your catchment area they will see your dog free.
sorry "he"
again she
I would be questioning whether they actually gave the dog anything, you never know if they were under the influence. I would be f*cking livid if I thought anyone had let my dog get anywhere near anything like this. For god's sake get it to a vet and while you are there ask about having your partner put down.
phone the vet now - and I agree with Lankeela, it's not unknown for idiots to give a pet a bit of speed or whatever "just for a laugh". Do it NOW, even if you have to pay for an out of hours visit.
I don't suppose we will ever know what happened here as the OP doesn't usually bother.
I wouldn't say that - 39 questions, 40 answers, that's not a bad ratio - I hope she's not responding because she's already at the vet.

we're not being condemnatory of the lifestyle, sam (whether or not we agree with it), we're concerned about the dog's health in this post.

I agree with that, sam, but right at the moment, I'm more concerned about the dog
Have you asked your partner if the dog was given/took anything?
