Do you have any more to tell us about those baby kittens? Has the mother come back?

yes i have an update on the kittens, the mother came back ate the food and seemed to settle in again, but when i went to look this morning she had moved three of the kits, i watched all morning and she never returned for the last one, so i got the little one indoors to warm it and rang the cat rehoming place and they said to take it to them as it would not live much longer without being fed, so thats what i did, the mum still has not returned so maybe cats can't count, tomorrow i will ask around the neighbours and ask them to look in their sheds.
I am glad that she came back. They stand a greater chance of survival with mum. I hope that the cat rescue people manage to hand rear the last one. It could be that it was the 'runt' or a sickly kitten and she left it intentionally.

To think that in a matter of weeks these little kittens will be racing up and down somebody's curtains and attempting to kill any bit of passing paper. :-)
