My kitten is due to have the chop this month but we are moving as well. Its likely the 2 things will coincide. Would it be too stressfull for him to have that operation and then come home to a new house and strange surroundings? I don't want to make him miserable.

If your kitten was mine, then I would wait until I moved and got reasonably settled.  Glad your kitten's got such a kind owner.

If its a little boy then the operation is very simple and they are normally galloping about after a couple of hours of coming home.

I have had cats for years and amazed at how quickly the boys get over the snip.

But I do agree with the other reply, it would be better for him to settle and then have the chop but ask the vet if you want more reassurance.

Thank you! I suppose he doesn't have to be done straight away so think I will let him get used to his new home first. Thanks again!
