What a lovely story. He's so cute, even though he's massive.
He's Huge - but sleek and beautiful!
But he has a point - those chihuahuas are evil.

A truly heartwarming story for a change. What a beautiful dog, but I wouldn't want to have to walk him!
Or have his food bill, eh, Sir Alec? :o)
Ha ha, Mrs. C, I didn't think of that!
Really enjoyed watching this!...........thanks pasta!...........

I love the idea that such a large and gentle creature can be spooked by a chihuahua. But the little ones are always the yappiest.
Our dogs will often get attacked by terriers for some reason, our dogs just cant be bothered and just run away from them, thankfully :-)

Sally-my lurcher-is always getting verbally attacked by terriers-the smaller, the louder.
I read this in the paper and thought it was so so cute x
What a great story, lovely dog, but confess if i saw him coming around the corner might think twice about patting him on the head, if i could reach that is.
That's a story to warm the cockles of your heart isn't it ?!
I saw the article when I used your link - but when I saw him in my newspaper last night he looked even bigger.

We used to have a bull-mastiff/GSD and he was a big hound - the Jack Russell along the road used to terrify him and it bit his nose. I am not really keen on little dogs myself.
He must need poo-bags in XL! - (what is it about me and poo?....)
