No they don't work get down the gym and do it that way, not worth the money or effort. Cut out the crap like chocolate crisps and takeaways and burn off more calories than you eat, that should do the trick. Oh and if you decide not to take my advice and try the pills and find one that does work let me know!

i broke my wrists in april and have been off work since then (havin an op on my left one in nov)im a bit immobile so i cant do the gym!! ive tried walkin and stuff but i cant seem to shift it!
all in the diet. eat less, perform basic cardio for 45 mins 3x a week and you will lose fat. simple - just noone can be bothered cos they;re too lazy. anyone who says they cant shift it isnt trying hard enough.
No they don't work. I've tried them. All I do now is eat 'clean' as I call it ie - no crap. I eat loads of fresh fruit and veg, chicken and fish. Also I have cut out wheat and dairy products although I do have the odd packet of chocolate buttons as a treat now and then. I have lost 13lb in 8 weeks and hopefully my eating habits have changed for life. I also take regular walks with the dog.
I don't mean to sound like your Mum, but do be careful - slimming tablets are often basically speed / amphetimeins (sp) - thats pretty strong drugs which can really disagree with some people.
I've lost over one stone with Slimming World,a 2-3 weekly loss,I cant excerise fully but I do armchair excercises by Rosemary Conley and it works!
I meant to put a " A 2-3Ibs weekly loss" Sorry:-(.
Hello again ilovegeorge, Ok so maybe the weights are out, but a broken wrist shouldn't stop you power walking or even jogging on a treadmill, or at least going for a walk around the block - it's all calories i'm afraid, i'm trying to lose about the same and i think it's really unfair of el duerino to say that anyone who can't shift it isn't trying hard enough, as that last half a stone is difficult. Cut out the rubbish - easier said than done i know, i've just eaten a small packet of animal crackers.... and try doing some cardio exercise. Good luck.
