I would think Biogradable will still be on sale for our doggie clear-up which I use now.

thanks garner, didn't know there was such a thing.
Just to let you know shaking you can buy them from good pet shops.
Tesco's carriers are biodegradable!

What about binliners. Apparently the sale of plastic binliners has increased dramatically in Ireland where they now don't give away plastic carrier bags. So much for going green!!

Noone has really thought all this out.
Nappy sacks.
I use nappy sacks, 99p for a box of 250.

I dispense of 'full' sacks in dog bin around the corner from my house.

thanks everyone, there is plenty of choice.
please think about using biodegradeable!! As I said in an a question a few weeks ago- putting dog poo in a normal carrier extends its time to biodegrade from a couple of weeks to several years minimum! And those doggy bins contenets end up at the landfill! Not a pleasant thought!

Yes burnhal will do- thanks

so what do you do with the poo when in biodegradeable bags, put it down the loo?
I use tesco small food bin liners. They are the biodegradable ones for food recycling bins. Then I chuck the poo in my garden recycling bin x
I wish all dog owners were as concientious as all who have posted here.I get sick to death of the amount of dog poo left lying on pavements and parks.I was at Fairhaven Lake in Lytham last night and I watched two owners walk past their dog's mess without cleaning it up.
There was a pile right outside the school gate this morning, Daffy. It is disgusting! And the amount of people that don't clear it up in the park, for crying out loud, would they want their kids playing in it?! If I am close enough to anyone leaving a pile, I go up to them and say 'it appears you have run out of bags, here have one of mine'! It doesn't always work and I have got into rows over it. IMO if you cannot clear up your dogs mess, then you shouldn't have a dog! x
I have a dog poo recycling unit for the garden..

It's like a composter but you dig it into the ground! Hey presto.... No carriers required!
