Just back from the park and now my dog is limping in one leg. It looks as it is strained. He is always jumping up and down walls.

Now I have insurance on him. But right now I bathed it in methylated spirits and he is wrapped in a big towel with a hot water bottle. Will he be alright

check between his toes and round his pads, he might of damaged the web between them , got something stuck there or grazed a pad
What breed is he? Some of the bigger breeds (and some smaller ones) are susceptible to ruptured cruciate ligaments which need operating on, this is the ligament in the hind leg that can be torn if they strain or stretch it. They can be cured with rest if not badly torn.

See what he's like tomorrow morning, and if no better then take him to the vet, who will give him anti-inflammatories and painkillers.
