A bit nippy here in the fog, even the wildlife are sensibly home in bed.

I can see above the mist that the sky is fairly clear, so we may see some sunshine later.

It's been very heavy rain overnight here and so it's a bit soggy underfoot this morning. In racing terms - the going is soft.

albs, Bruges is a beautiful city, I used to drive through it on my way home on leave from Germany. It's one of my favourite cities.

Yes Alba, Bruges is everything you've ever heard. It's small, stunningly beautiful and I love it. I'm fortunate enough to be in a geographical location so I can go several times a year. Sometimes for a few days and sometimes just for a day trip.
LOVELY beer and chocolate. It's not exactly a haven for vegetarians so I do tend to struggle a bit.
If you ever get a chance to go, then please do so. It's not where you could spend a week but a couple of days every now and then is perfect. I'm going again in November and December.
