a cat who had been visiting me apparentlly had 2 kittens in the next garden.i phoned rspca explaining the situation. i was told that if i carried on feeding her i would be liable for her-but i could put water out for her because of the warm weather.THANK YOU RSPCA.absolute joke

Big of them wasn't it Dylan - an animal protection society indifferent to animal welfare.
There was a thread on this subject on AB a few weeks back. If you are concerned about the cat and her kits it might be a better idea to approach your local Cat's Protection League or similar cat rescue for help and advice.
There are also a lot of cat lovers on here so I'm sure someone will have further advice for you

dylan where abouts in the uk are you? Theres a wonderful group in devon that help with that sort of thing.

try ringing a vet..I know it's weekend though.

They can usually give advice.

RSPCA are rubbish..had dealings with them myself, or lack of care!!
What did you want the RSPCA to do? If you are feeding her she will take care of the kittens herself. If you want them removed then Cats Protection will be the best people to contact.
