Miniature Bearded Dragon

My Friend has a miniature bearded dragon who at the moment isnt very well (the bearded dragon !) Hes not eating/refusing food is very lethargic and seems to have his eyes closed all the time. He has got an appt next week with a specialist vet but has any other bearded dragon owners experienced any of these symptoms?

Do you know what substrate your friend is using? Some people use sand which isn't advisable because they can ingest it and it can causes blockages. Other than that I think he needs to get help before next week as they do need to eat regularly. Is there a specialist shop/breeder nearby as they are often very useful when it comes to illnesses. Hope he recovers soon, they are lovely little pets

Is he at the right temperature? How old is it and what are they feeding him?
