Would all remote controls from the Sony KDL range, all be compatible with every KDL tv or would each remote only work with the TV that it was made for?

I quick meander through Ebay has about 3 KDL numbers on the remotes which is yours - around the £12 mark

Ours is a KDL-32W653A to be specific. I've seen those remotes at various prices. That's why I was asking, because I wanted to find out if the remotes are all specific to each tv or do they all work for every kind of KDL range.

As they quote 3 different numbers per item it doesn't appear they are universal but they do look very similar.
