Very similar woofgang. Dorset Buttons are made starting with a plastic ring, the link I put up starts with a four hole button. Both very attractive but don't know if I would have the patience.

Maggie...you're a star.....I have papered a wall today and wanted something unusual to go on it.....

Been looking at things online but those floral buttons will be a perfect picture ....and use up some of my stash of gold crochet cotton.....thank you!....☺

My neighbour makes them. I didn't know that they had an actual name though. We live and learn on the AB.
