Yes. Colin Skipp retired earlier this month and has been replaced by David Troughton. Agree about Helen.

I was just going to post how good I thought the new tony is.
I cannot agree about Helen - every show needs a baddie. I love it when Helen and Emma get their comeuppance.

Yes...David Troughton, son of "Doctor Who" Patrick Troughton. I remember him in Alan Ayckbourn's The Norman Conquests on the Beeb years ago.

Helen & Emma are not baddies, they're just a bit flaky especially Helen. Now, if you want a real baddie go no further than Jack's adoptive daughter the toxic Hazel.

Wasn't toxic Hazel referred to as Jack's only blood relation? It surprised me as I thought she was adopted.
As for Helen, I think she'll get short shrift from Peggy when they meet up, but I do think she should stay, every village needs its idiot!

Where is Joleen these days ? Its been ages since we last heard from her. I can remember the time when most of the story lines in the Archers used to originate in the Bull.
