Does anyone else find the latest KFC ad with the call centre people talking (trying to sing) with their mouths full, offencive?

I do, and would like others to complain to the ITC. Do you remember when you were told it is rude to talk with your mouth full? I think it is wrong to advertise in such a way.

Flame away! Without food in your mouth please!

Having just finished my dinner, which, I hasten to add, I ate with my mouth closed and without speaking with a full mouth.......I would like to say that I absolutely detest that advert.......I'm not offended enough by it to complain though.  It's just revolting and ridiculous.

The KFC ad - I haven't seen it but I'm sure it is offensive.  But the name offends me anyway.  I have heard how their U.S. factory treats broiler chickens.

No flames from me.

I believe that this is yet another example of how far standards have dropped in what we like to call a civilised society.

sorry to disagree with you guys ,but i find it one of the funniest ads on tv at the moment

Its a terrible Ad but I have seen worse.

Eupraxia

It was always one of the things I was told by my parents when I was a kid "Don't talk with your mouth full" and I now say the same thing to my kids. I think it is very important to bring up children with good standards and values. Call me old fashioned if you like, but it's just basic manners at the end of the day.
Agree 100% it's vile and NOT funny!   How do you go about complaining to the ITC? Is there a web site / link?

I can't believe folk would have so little to do that they would complain to the ITC about this.  If you were of that mind, wouldn't there be LOADS of things on tv that were more offensive than a 30 second ad with folk singing with their mouths full???

I have never eaten KFC, as I don't do fast food, but the ad is quite amusing (more so now it seems to be so annoying!!).

I haven't seen it, but I find the thought of it utterly repulsive.  However, I'm not sure about "offensive".  I must admit I do not know what that word means anymore - it is banded around so much that I think the definition must have changed when I wasn't looking.  I thought offensive meant "Causing anger, displeasure, resentment, or affront: an offensive gesture." I guess that does cover this.  But then if someone eating with their mouth open is "offensive", what is racism or sexism, or calling people fat or ugly or stupid?

One reason for eating with their mouths open might be because they are expecting to be sick very soon.  I ate KFC once.  I was sick.  Maybe they know what's gonna happen!! :-p

it is an advert they don't care

I find it very hard to believe that anyone would find this advert offensive and even harder to believe that someone would go to the trouble of reporting this advert.

It's a funny advert. A very funny advert. I hate to think what else might offend you.
k you guys seriously need to get a life, i can not possible see how eating and singing is offeinsive....oh no wait they must have BRUTALY KILLED that cabbage for the salad.......seriously get a life, i think the advert is really catchy and funny.

Joanne-G.  I don't often come to the Adverts section, but I am so revolted by this advert that I was going to post almost an exact question as you.  I think it is extremely offensive and quite horrible and I am amazed that anyone thought it would sell anything.

It's not just that the ad promotes the most chav-like disgusting eating habits. What is far worse is the fact that it seems to be on during every sodding ad break!

Whereas I originally found it irritating, it's now wound me up to the point where I have to change the channel whenever it comes on. Which usually gives me about 30 seconds before it's shown on that channel instead. Aaargh!

its only an advert....and it is a funny advert. It is the basicly the same as their other adverts, stupid (in a funny way) and the funny lyrics and i think very effective

Mikesmith165 - There is a difference between "effective" in that it sticks in your mind, and "effective" in that it will boost sales / the reputation of KFC.

Whilst I'm quite partial to a Zinger Tower burger, there is no way I am going near a KFC whilst that ad is stuck in my head.

..calm down dear, it's only a comercial...
I think for anyone who thinks this advert is offensive is silly, its only a joke and is one of their best yet, their best being the *Can I have a bite*.
