Pauline Quirk, what a great actress this lady is

She's good in Emmerdale and seems to get into the role of each person she portrays.
Anyone remember years ago when she took the part of a mentally challenged young lady who fell in love with a lad who was also this way, what a tear jerker that was, I think she should be up for an award next time round, I hope so

I didn't know she's in Emmerdale now - the soaps seem to be raking in some good actors now, I wonder if they are trying to keep up with each other. I wonder what makes a really good actor take a part in a soap, when they have excelled on stage or TV already.

I thought she was excellent in The Sculptress, where she was accused of murdering her mother and sister.

Either she is looking rough these days or the makeup department are doing a great job of making her look really haggard.I think she is good in Emmerdale, one of the few that you don't keep thinking of in their most popular roles (like Cindy Beale in Corrie!)

I remember seeing her in The Sculptress .She was brilliant .
Maisie Raine was another good role she played .
People only seem to remember her for Birds of Feather but she's a good character actress .

She was on This Morning yesterday I think, looking rougher than a rough rough thing. Reckons she won't put the weight back on - yeah right!

She is also very pretty indeed and now she has lost 4st she looks wonderful. (She was pretty too before she lost it)

I have always liked her. One of our finest actresses these days and as she gets older I can only see her improving and joining the ranks of people like Dench and Mirren.
