Is this E-Bola?
Keep taking the tablet.
The virus warning struck when on my lappie this morning, and hasnt returned at all while on my Huddle on AB.

It's worse this time as hitting the back button takes me off the page I'm on. This is a pain in the proverbial...and not funny.
Drove me mad this morning pasta.
It did appear first thing, but I checked the adguard and it had somehow disabled. Re-enabled it and all ok x
Same here! Infuriating.
Mine seems to have cleared up now.

I've just switched to the mobile site...which I hate...but so far no horrid pop ups.. The same warning was appearing every few seconds.
I've emailed the Ed...but I bet he's on his way home now...:-((
I am getting it on Hudl2, too.
What are you using, pasta?

I'm on a nexus 7...so chrome/android.
I was recommended adguard... (green icon) which has worked on my Android. Can you download and enable it?

I don't know how yours works. On mine it was in App store as the first option.
Adblock didn't stop it for me, but adguard did.
Can you get me a screenshot of the issue please?

Could you describe what it looks like, and how it behaves.

Thank you.

(We're working with the network to sort it out - thanks for everyone's help. It appeared to be fixed yesterday, for me at least!)
It played up for me too yesterday. It was an advert and kept telling me to go to my apps store and buy something. Sorry cannot remember more than that.
@AB Editor

I had BB issues yesterday; switched to mobile data mode and got various popups about having won something, which had an OK button but no 'x' to simply close it, so I had to close/reopen Safari or use back button.

Most pages only gave me 20 seconds or so before the redirect. I managed a one line reply using paste & submit.

A google search showed it is a well known phenomenon but involves hacking your site at the html level.

I block many apps from ability to use mobile data, as I'm on payg, so app store wouldn't launch and I never saw what app they were trying to foist on people.
