Windows media player in Windows 7

i've upgraded from XP to 7 and think that WMP 12 is aload of pap. can anyone suggest a better music player and library program to use so i can import my files from my external hard drive?...

I have had a new conservatory built which goes accross my garage at the back, the opening to the garage from the conservatory was bricked up and a fire door fitted, when the work was done my brother...
