Can you be charged by your financial advisor commission money for trading for different stock. The amount was over $700 commission and was shocked that I wasn't even informed.

Can you be charged a commission for trading stock without even being informed. I was suggested to change to another stock and received a billfor $703 commission and was never informed. I wouldn't have...
