final written warning (again)

I shall rephrase my earlier question. ' is it legal for someone to be suspended from work without pay as a form of punishment, after the hearing ' . thanks for all your earlier replies.

i was found at home an hour earlier than i should have been, but booked the usual day . Having no verbal warnings or 1st letters, is being given a final written warning right/ allowed.

In what circumstances can a final written warning be given if that individual had no verbal or 1st warning before.
