Inertia seat belts for Triumph Herald 16/60 Convertable

I want to fit a set of inertia type seat belts to my Herald Convertable. I have a set ( not sure from what make or model ), but I don't want to modify the car without knowing the end result will work....

Charge light coming on

I converted my Triumph Herald to alternator two years ago and it has run faultlessly up to now, the other day the charge light came on, I thought that it was the alternator, so I had it reconditioned....
