Case I'm involved in has been listed as a "Floating" case (at Crown) What are the chances of this being heard?

Pre-sentencing reports - do they always get asked for

If you are found guilty at a Crown Court trial of an offence that carries a custodial sentence (or possibilty of one), is there always an adjournment for pre-sentencing reports before the judge passes...

If you are found guilty of an offence at Crown Court that carries the possibility of a custodial sentence, are pre-sentencing reports always done before sentencing?
