spray on insulation

We are buying a house with sprayed on roof insulation stuck to the underside of the roof tiles. How do we get this stuff off? Does anyone recommend using this stuff or are we on a loser here? there...

Loft Insulation

Is there another easy alternative to laying the itchy woolly loft insulation.  Could I use the polystyrene foil-backed cavity wall insulation and cut it into strips, or is that not suitable.

Spray foam roofing.. any experiences?

I'm probably going to have to replace the roof on my house which is reaching the end of its natural life.  I've seen adverts for spray foam insulation which claim to insulate and bond...
