upgrade from win 98 to xp

dell inspiron 4000 running win 98.would like to upgrade to win xp.have discs.what would be the best way to go about this?not worried about saving files,loaded software etc. any help appreciated....

Slide projector problem

I have a circa 1950's German, Noris Trumpf halogen 5x5 +6x6 cm. slide projector, which I use a lot for my work. It has suddenly started to turn off the light for a few seconds and then come back on...
