Had an email supposedly from Amazon saying that an unusual order had arisen on my account, made in Mexico. If I hadn't placed this order, please would I log into my account, confirming all my details, including my credit card details!. Needless to say, I did not give them those details, and will report this to Amazon. Please be aware of this and don't fall for it. By the way, the email account it came from was [email protected] - not one I am familiar with!!

deffo scam..ed needs to move this to spam and scams ! thanks for the warning losgigs !
These scams are getting worse. I had an email from 'Ebay' the other day stating my account was frozen and I would no longer be able to use it until I gave them my full details again including re registering bank cards - I have a business account with them and knew it was a scam but some people would just go and do it -the email was indistinguishable from a real one and even had my real name on it -I think some of these scams must be inside jobs to be honest.
suspect so retro !
I am always getting emails from ebay saying that my account has been limited, etc. And same from paypal. I don't have accounts with either, and just delete them as they rock up into my inbox!

You have to be very stupid and ill-informed to take e-mails of this nature seriously.
