Xmas Cards Out In The Shops .... When Is It Too Early ????

Went out shopping with the missus earlier and went to the Card Factory to get a birthday card .... was amazed to see Xmas cards out on the shelf already ... it's just over 4 months away.

When do you think is too early and when is acceptable ??

I personally think it's waaaay too early ..... it's still summer isn't it ....... although that might be a different debate .......

That's what we do Maggie. We also save our copper up over the year then at Christmas whatever the amount is we double it, and give that and the Christmas card/stamp money to the cancer unit of our local hospital. Far better use of the money in my opinion.

I had my first xmas brochure fro the Blue Cross a few days ago.

In June a local pub started advertising Christmas Lunch bookings.!

I'm not a great fan of Christmas, but it doesn't annoy me if stuff's in the shops from July onwards, surely you have the willpower to just ignore it, if you don't want to see it don't blooming look!

Xmas cards are in the shops in January at half price, then they're put into storage for what seems like 5 minutes and , hey presto, they're all back again.
