Not really to sure where to put this. My friends beautiful grand daughter tried to help me with the house work by putting two lovely brass ornaments in the dish washer & they are now really dull - is there anyway to I can restore them.

Are they brass or bronze?
Anyway.....
They need buffing on a buffing wheel with some buffing compound.
