I know they say drinking loads of water helps you to urinate but are there other things to take to help as I find with the water I drink I should be going like Niagara Falls. No pain or anything just a thimble full - my friend will go up to the bath room - sighing (coming down) oh God that was a flood and a half. I would never get that. I have bought Cranberry and Apple juice just an hour ago but haven't tried it. Anything elese out there thanks.

10Clarion st, where do you think the water in your non alcoholic beverages comes from?

@10ClarionSt

What do you imagine is being added to tap water and why does it appear to have zero ill effects on the millions who drink it, daily?

When you say "only non-alcoholic beverages", these would have to be shop-shelf products (since you deny yourself both bottled and tap, hence no tea/coffee brewed at home), yes?

Where do you think beverage factories get their water from?

@10ClarionSt

I didn't type fast enough. Sorry, woofgang.

Okay, what "processing" does a food factory do, to water which the water company has already spent money on making it potable?

Scroll doen to the diagram. Mention of "floc, coagulation (of particulates), filtration, chlorine addition, dechlorination by carbon".

imho, a domestic water filter should remove most minerals of concern, likewise chlorine and fluoride added by the water company, to destroy bacteria and improve teeth, respectively.

The only reason bottled water has a best before date is because the seal on the cap has a limited life. It is to make sure the water is used before the seal has a chance to deteriorate to the point where it lets contamination in.
To be exact water is not as old as the Earth , the early Earth was too hot for water to exist. The best theory is that water was delivered to Earth by Comets during the period known as 'The Late Heavy Bombardment'
Late Heavy Bombardment LHB see link, (4 billion years ago)

After reading that article, I have to acknowledge that the Belfastians (or what do you call yourselves?) can perform miracles and sell water at wine prices!

One of the wittier comments made me realise I must be one of the last people in the country to notice that thing about Evian spelled backwards… (smh)
