When I receive a What's app message it produces the same sound as the call ringtone not the notification tone. I would like to be able to differentiate between a phone call and a what's app message. This problem does not occur with sums or email notifications.

I use WhatsApp and have a different tone for it.
Should be straightforward to do.

Unable to access settings as three dots in top right of screen visible on friends phones not shown on mine.
Disclaimer: I don't have a smart phone. I use my Android tablet once in a blue moon and I've never downloaded any apps to it. I've not got Whatsapp and know little about it. However I am quite good at googling for information. See if the following helps!

Press the Menu button
