If someone takes a day off work and loses wages after being called as a witness. And you turn up to be told the case has been canceled and you have not been informed, can you claim compensation for loss of wages.

Is the witness for the defence or prosecution. If for the prosecution, such claims can be made by contact with the Court Clerk.
