Using Paypal On Geek App

Has anyone here used the Geek app before to buy stuff using Paypal and is it safe? I went through the checkout process but I'm just not 100% happy logging into my PayPal account as it doesn't open in a browser with the https:// address but rather opens within the app. Can anyone put my mind at ease that it is safe to use.

Is This Possible?
