999 - then 70 minutes and still no ambulance.

Cameron's NHS.

Well, she wasn't white or rich.

"I simply cannot believe that somebody could be so breathtakingly idiotic and crass to actually believe in such a statement. " - and thus a new TLA is born! Yes Canary has demostrated on here many time how BTI he is!
Also notice that the Canary, lets out a cheep, and then flies away.
Yes, come on Canary, defend yourself .....
"I've pretty much come to the conclusion that Canary42 is always on a bit of a wind-up, because I simply cannot believe that somebody could be so breathtakingly idiotic and crass to actually believe in such a statement. "

Ive thought exactly the same for some time now...
Did you read the article?
it says "The London Ambulance Service issued an apology for an ambulance not reaching her and said the first 999 call, made by a member of the public, had been assessed as a "lower priority call".
It was a mistake. A very bad one. It could have happened under Cameron, Blair, Miliband or anyone
Did they ask for her colour and income before deciding she was low priority? I didn't see that bit in the article
I mentioned the relevance of the details of the 999 call on page one - deafening silence from OP.

I have called for emergency assistance many times (as I am sure have others) never once been asked for ethnicity, skin colour or bank details.
that's old BTI for you mamy!
"Why did the Police officers not take her to hospital in their car?"

In the first place, an ambulance had been called but, and I'm surmising here, health and safety coupled with liability further down the road when the dust settles stayed their hand.
Police officers can't take it upon themselves to assess casualties and act as paramedics. They did act when all else turned to *** around them and should be commended for that.

In closing, after five+ years, it maybe, kinda is Dave's NHS
gosh, it's certainly very wicked to start a thread on this without condemning the people responsible for the attack... but hang on, what's this? A thread on the massacre in the USA in which rightwingers jump in to condemn... the white boy suspected of doing it? No - the BBC!!

http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/News/Question1427006.html

I do look forward to more self-righteous condemnation of its tastelessness... as if.
I blame Thatcher.

Oh jno, you poor man. You, inadvertently I'm sure, highlight exactly what that thread was about. Where, in this BBC link does it mention these two low lifes are black.
I waited 50 minutes on my own when I had my heart attack. I went very cold and weak and thought I was a gonna. I sent a text to my loved one while I waited.

My mistake was getting ill on Friday night when the ambulance crews are busy mending drunks.
Well God's loss was our gain, if you don't mind my saying, gromit. ;)
is she/dead after 70 minutes - bless her/him
Thank you svejk :-).

I should have complained, but when the ambulance did turn up they were very good and saved my life. It seemed rather ungrateful to make an official complaint for my 50 minute wait.
Don't think so, joan.
Svejk....jno is a lady!
Well blow me. That is a surprise. Not sure why.
