Marks and Spencer have come up with a yeast extract called Brewer's paste for bread and toast. Described as a mighty yeast extract made with seven-malt London Porter from the Greenwich Meantime Brewery it also contains soft brown sugar and molasses. I rather liked it, obviously sweeter that the original I just tried it on toast. I think it would be good as a topping for cheese on toast, or in a sandwich with a really strong cheddar cheese. Worth a try for all you Marmite enthusiasts.

I tried it on cheese on toast, really tasty. Not sure everybody would like it though.
