Lynne M, what do you mean that it's a good thing they were white?
Makes me sick to my stomach.
Punishment?
Solitary confinement, no visitors, books, television, recreation with others, no radio, no newspapers, just time to reflect on their evil thoughts and acts.
I am usually in favour of education and rehabilitation.
These people will wish they were dead! All other prisoners hate this type of crime A murderer of an adult is accepted in prison, but a child killer or worse a child rapist is loathed. The other inmates will hold contests to see who can hurt them most. A ballpoint pen pushed into the eye is favorite (you cannot ban pens.)
If they are stupid enough to go near a kitchen they can expect to be 'napalmed', boiling sugar syrup poured over them! 'Napalm' is hotter than boiling water and it sticks to the skin causing instant 3rd degree burns that never heal. Razor blade pieces in their food is another certainty.
The screws hate hate them as much as the other prisoners do and will turn a 'Nelson' to all this!
One recent development is being force fed chopped razor blades followed by laxatives, you can imagine what happens when the razor blades come out the 'other end'. Yes you guessed it! they get salt and curry powder forced up the bum to 'heal the wound'
I have worked in a prison and I know what goes on!
