I went on to the Northern league cricket website to view resent results,
The results page came up but the only information showed was the total scores but not individual performances like I got last year. When I phoned a friend to ask if they were having a problem --they said that another 2" of screen to the right had an icon to click on but I couldn't move the screen text to find this (there is usually arrows at the bottom of the screen to click in order to do this if the screen resolution has text too large.) Have you tried holding down the CTRL button and moving your mouse wheel?
You can change the screen resolution by following these steps:
1. Call up your desktop display.
2. Right-click a blank part of the display. Drop-down menu appears.
3. Select Screen Resolution from the menu.
4. Screen Resolution window appears.
5. To change the screen resolution, click the Resolution drop-down list and use your mouse arrow to drag the little bar between High and Low.
6. Use the Windows-recommended setting if possible.
7. View the display changes by clicking Apply, then click Keep Changes to authorize the change.
8. When you've finished tweaking the display, click OK.

Thanks Bookbinder--I had thought about doing that but didn't want to alter the settings for other pages.
I've just tried your suggestion Stoofur----and "bingo"--the text went smaller enabling the missing 2" to be shown (I take it, that is the method to use for temporary alteration in font size??)--Many thanks
