I will be catering for a few people and one of them is coeliac. There is a gluten free carrot cake on the BBC goodfood site but I`d like to use my own recipe which calls for self raising wholewheat flour. Is there a decent alternative for that or should I go with a different recipe?

I've never done any gluten free baking, but is there a way you can adapt your recipe, using the BBC one for guidance,as your wholemeal flour cannot be used. Otherwise, use the recipe you've found.
Here is a list of suitable flours from Doves Farm... https://www.coeliac.org.uk/gluten-free-diet-and-lifestyle/cooking-and-baking/gluten-free-cake-making/

And here is guidance from CoeliacUK

Thanks for the links pasta. I might go with the BBC good food one or I might just use gluten free self raising flower in mine (I haven`t decided yet). It would be good to do a trial run but I don`t really want to waste stuff.
Eeek...I've just noticed I posted the same link twice...here's the second one...
