Favourite School Dinners

What was your favourite meal at school? Mine was their cheese and carrot pie. Delish!

I liked semolina and figs, and used to eat the figs no-one else wanted. Loved Jackdaws poem, reminded me of when the boy opposite my cousin sneezed his crumble and custard onto her plate, and she was made to eat it ! We were all giggling and gagging.

Remember being given rose hip syrup and cod liver oil.
Took a jar of cod liver oil and malt to my student flat. 6 of us, never caught cold!
