Lots of things like vomit, wind, poo, BO, etc, but I also have an aversion to bleach. It makes me gag.

did you keep the water fresh Maydup? Daffodills don't so much have a wonderful smell, they're more to be admired from the outside, I love to watch them get battered by all weathers, yet pop up as bright and strong and almost wave to the spring sunshiine

Yes, I only bought them on Sunday and they stunk the house out the minute they came out in flower on Monday. But they are so attractive I will put up with the smell! I love them outside too, they are so bright and cheerful especially in this wonderful spring sun.

You're right there Maydup, I personally don't like them in the house because maybe it's just me, I think they should be left in the garden to enjoy. Other flowers I don't mind in the house. could be whatever was used on them to make them bloom fast

I came across a body once in a hotel room. It had obviously been there for a few days in the heat of Summer. I immediately shut the door and phoned the cops. I'll never forget that odor!!
