h???I?e and 14d Slippery character in Marseille, say , working alone?
??e???n?n ,please parse as my brain is too addled.

The 18d flying dog is "Harrier" (double, or more accurately triple definition:hare coursing dog, avian raptor and VTOL fighter jet) the 14d lone worker is "Freelance" (eel in France)

4d Was Rosemary of course. Much more obvious than Rosalind - which didn't really work anyway. Shakespeare turned my head!
