thankyou ivor we were thinking of hiring rug doctor then i saw the vax advertised and thought it would be more economical to buy that but from your comments i think rug doctors looking good x
We've had a Vax for about 4 problem-free years now and it does a good job.
The advantage of owning, rather than hiring, is that you can do it when it suits you eg, the weather is good today, let's do the carpet.
I have one its okay cleans carpets well but can struggle on heavy treaded parts. However you can buy solution for this problem (double concentrated) on Amazon.co.uk cheapest price.
Had mine for a few months now and think it's fab. Read warnings of plastic bits breaking off so I treat it with respect and don't knock it about. Cleans beautifully and dries the carpet very well but do make sure you use the VAX carpet cleaner, at least while it's under Warranty as you could negate said warranty if you don't.
