The device, \Device\Harddisk0\D, has a bad block?


The error log on my computer says this over and over and want to know what it means.

goto a command prompt and type chkdsk c: /f


Where c is the letter of your bad disk. You may need to let it run the scan on next boot. This will try and repair bad sectors and if it can't it will mark them as bad and not use them.
