The font on my text messages has suddenly become gigantic. I've tried resetting font size but it doesn't change. It's a new phone and I'm far from an expert with it. Help please!

Nothing to do with moving your fingers on the screen to zoom in then ?

Prude, I did all that but the phone didn't save the change. Bernie' suggestion has cracked it.

i have galaxy s5 you can change the text size when writing a text with sound button making the text smaller or larger it seems the s4 does the same

Changing the text size using the sound button is an option in settings

fourteen85, I looked everywhere I could think of but I didn't find that. I'd just like to say thank you again to Bernie. After many frustrating attempts over the course of several hours to change it, I posted my question here and within 10 minutes the answer materialised. That's service! :o)
